@Ventronik Haven’t regularly used reddit in years. Not sure how they enters into the Venn diagram. Gamification of news and memes doesn’t really factor into Mastodon that I’m aware of.
But yeah the user-end challenges of Mastodon are show-stoppers for most people with lives to live.
