Well I fixed my bug. Quick fix. Satisfying.

Getting that and the last few days back into git will wait until I’m well-rested which oh right WILL BE NEVER

Apparently I needed some #drawing time.

@rgx thanks! yah, this is Linea, which has a delightfully constrained toolkit. Feels the most like drawing on paper, so my little knotwork ritual is very soothing.

It’s all coming true!

@rgx nope, this was all in Linea! The “pencil” brush looks very much like real pencil. And the only drawing aids in the app amount to a straight edge, protractor (it shows what angle your straight line is), and compass.

@rgx so I built the grid and path with straightedge and technical pencil, then went over it in firmer pencil. That shading was color pencil, but I switched to marker after posting.

Singing along.

But I’m not one so I don’t say that bit.

Tests pass.

Of course, they passed yesterday too.

Being cautious.

As much as I appreciate all the work that’s gone into MyPy and the benefits of using it with Python, I’d rather have a good type system enforced from the outset.

Tried a simpler shading approach in this #drawing. Just a few marker layers.
