This is just embarrassing

Got an Invoke test task for the site. Because of that, I found out that 2015-07-19 Making a Jekyll Collection got truncated — before the current repo existed.
Fixed it though. Got the missing content from an old copy. Yay for Internet Archive!

My favorite part is the replies, where they have apparently never had to write code while everything was on fire or tidy as much as possible while only a little bit of production was on fire.

I’m totally a glass half full sort of person.

The name someone gives me is their name.
It’s not the name they give someone else? Doesn’t matter.
It’s not the name someone else gave them? Irrelevant.
A name is a tag. It’s not a person. I use the name they give me because that tag is important to that person.

Running tests over my site revealed a post that got truncated ~5 years ago when I converted from Jekyll to Hugo. Fixing, thanks to Internet Archive.
I get where I need to be.
Takes me a while, but I get there.

Here is your irregularly scheduled reminder that Emacs is not Vim.
Not by default, anyways.
Yeah, I dunno. I hit C-u a few times, and j at some point — obviously.

Ah, nice thing about good friends is you can speak favorably of monocles and stripper poles in the same sentence and they don’t judge you.
