@jacobydave I did have to deal with the hang up issue, but for the home office setup “answer on the computer” is strongly preferred to “take off headphones, find quiet spot in apartment, try to ans—well crap— call back and apologize for missing the call”

@jacobydave I’ll be in the same boat again shortly, but I’m going through the process for a new job. Lots of calls from HR etc.

@jacobydave much appreciated! Two months is the longest stretch I ever had without any income as an adult, so I am very ready.
The job itself looks cool. Expect blog posts from me about the Robot Framework for Python in the near future 😀

@jacobydave I can be honest over here: Python’s not my first choice, but it’s not my last choice either. OTOH paying rent is my first choice, and I’d code in Brainfuck if it means I get to eat.

Meanwhile today Dropbox decided it owned all the CPU, but I uninstalled it and everything’s fine now.
So it’s cool. I had mixed feelings about using Dropbox anyways.
