@amydentata it does write good code sometimes as much as 20% of the time. So you have to use it a lot, and accept every solution, and never refactor.

@tek at its peak Ubuntu was a good desktop distribution but a middling server distro. Always preferred straight Debian for servers.

Nowadays Ubuntu’s best as I dunno a WSL driver? Pretty much the only context I use it now, though admittedly that’s at some point every time I boot into Windows so good for them I guess?

@Crell I My main PHP usage was about 25 years ago. Just as first PHP 3 beta was released, I think. I track changes though, and whenever someone would gripe about PHP I’d always be “yeah sure but it’s so much better than it was.”
